Walkthrough & Notes

All progress is retained on defeat, or if leaving and re-entering the mission. The mission flows much like an offensive skirmish: interact with a "control" object, this spawns a "counterattack" with the message THE ORCS OF MORIA HAVE LAUNCHED A COUNTER-ATTACK!, consisting of an orc and 2 goblins. After the counterattack is defeated, move on to the next control object. EXCEPTION: the final control object has no counterattack. In this mission, the control objects are designated as Metal Base (similar to those in various "reclaiming" Allegiance repeatables), which when activated, change the appearance of the banner which they support. NOTE: as the player progresses through the mission, previous banners will revert to their original appearance, either just the front of the banner, or both sides. It is not technically necessary to kill all mobs surrounding each Metal Base, but as a practical matter, this is the simplest way to avoid being interrupted while trying to interact with the object. The counterattacks for the first 3 objects, however, need to be defeated in order to progress the mission to the next control object. If having trouble with the patrols between the third and final control objects, another option is to jump into the Mirrormere (not fatal) and swim around to the final control object. Despite the implication of  Twist: Reinforcements, there is no "summoning" of reinforcements by any of the orcs or goblins. It is the player's interaction with the control object which triggers the spawn of counterattacks.
