Neither Longbeards, Zhélruka, nor Stout-axes, a company of clanless dwarves known only as the Want-kin have made camp in Elderslade.

- Nagli Want-kin says, "Thank you, my friends. At least you can share a supper with us!"

Nagli and Stórath are talking about the tales you told.
- Nagli Want-kin says, "Oh? And what do you mean by that, Stórath?"
- Stórath says, "I've heard more than enough talk of battle, hardship, and tragedy."
- Stórath says, "Your hollow glories do not impress me, <name>. Only trouble follows in your wake!"
- Nagli Want-kin says, "What is the meaning of this, Stórath? <name> does not deserve this rudeness!"
- Stórath says, "<name> has brought war to the Slade! All that we hoped to leave behind has found us again!"
- Nagli Want-kin says, "Oh, Stórath, I don't think you believe that..."
- Nagli Want-kin says, "It is true that we left our lands of old in search of peace and new beginnings, but others are not so fortunate."
