Description

The Closed Door of Fen Hollen (Sindarin for the Closed Door) is a landmark upon the Masters' Tier of Minas Tirith, in Old Anórien. [65.7S, 19.7W]

This door leads to the crypts and tombs of the Kings and Ruling Stewards of Gondor, and is locked at most times. Beyond lies Rath Dínen, the Silent Street. The Closed Door is forced open during the Battle of Pelennor Fields, and remains open after the battle. It is closed again by Midsummer.
