Walkthrough & Notes

This instance can be done solo or duo. You will appear on the north-eastern of the two bridges spanning Fushaum Bal North and Fushaum Bal South. [55.3S, 14.1E] Khirgi will approach from the north to join two of his men: a Khundolar Archer and a Khundolar Warrior. Thâng and Mâlatuk will approach from the south to join four of their men: Sûhalar Archer, a Sûhalar Warrior, a Haradrim Archer, and a Haradrim Warrior. You must be on the bridge to /beckon and advance the quest. After conversing and discovering your betrayal, the bosses will run back to their respective soldiers and prepare to attack you. First, the two Sûhalar Easterlings from the south will attack. Second, the two Khundolar will attack. Third, the two Haradrim will attack. Finally, the three bosses will attack. When Mâlatuk is near defeat, he will drop out of the fight. If you put too strong a bleed on Mâlatuk, he may die despite becoming immune, meaning you can't talk to him to complete the instance. If this happens, you can reset the instance by leaving it, starting a different instance (e.g. from the Instance Finder), leaving that instance, and then talking to one of the Fushaum leaders again. You do not have to restart The Fushaum Resolution. A recommended strategy is to /beckon immediately upon entering the instance, then run north off the bridge. When the bosses have returned to their warriors, run up the ramp of the bridge a few meters from the top. This will activate the first wave. Run off the bridge and defeat the two warriors. Recover as necessary. Repeat this strategy for the next 2 waves. Then use a ranged attack to activate Khirgi. Most locations do not have active line of sight of Khirgi. A hunter can reach him from the side of the bridge at 55.1S, 13.8E. Do not approach the top of the bridge or all 3 bosses will attack. After Khirgi is defeated, run up the bridge ramp and activate the final 2 bosses.

Background The encampment of Fushaum Bal is a lawless home to evil men once under the command of Sauron. Objective 1 Beckon the leaders of Fushaum Bal to come forward Beckon the leaders of Fushaum Bal to come forward. You beckon to no-one in particular. Objective 2 Meet with the divided leaders of Fushaum Bal Meet with the divided leaders of Fushaum Bal Khirgi, the Hunter says, "To be curt, all I ask for is your submission." Khirgi, the Hunter says, "Thâng. Mâlatuk." Khirgi, the Hunter says, "Your lives will be spared and if you serve me well, may you even be rewarded." Mâlatuk, the Hammer says, "This is not a compromise, Khirgi!" Mâlatuk, the Hammer says, "This is a list of demands and false promises, just as Sauron had given us." Mâlatuk, the Hammer says, "You are a fool to travel down that same path to power." Thâng, the Knife says, "I could kill you right now if Mâlatuk would allow me!" Khirgi, the Hunter says, "<name>, explain to these two that there is no other choice as I am the only one capable of overthrowing Fushaum Tûm and keeping these men alive in Mordor!" Thâng, the Knife says, "Why would <name> answer to the likes of you! The <race> works for us!" Khirgi, the Hunter says, "This cannot be true, as <name> has served me well!" Mâlatuk, the Hunter says, "You have much explaining to do, <name>." Thâng, the Knife says, "That is if you make it off this bridge alive!" Khirgi, the Hunter says, "It seems we have been played for fools." Mâlatuk, the Hammer says, "This is the first time I have agreed with you, Khirgi!" Thâng, the Knife says, "Prepare yourself, <class>, for death will come swift!" It seems the time for discussion is now at an end Objective 3 Defend yourself! Defend yourself.
