Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue 'By Durin's beard, I'm in the middle of something! If you've run out of rations -- what's that? You're not looking for rations? Then don't bother me. '...Apologies. I'm trying to make our rations taste better, but it's been a challenge. Not much grows here, except for a plant called harthrót -- though I can't say I know of any dishes that use it. 'Maybe we'll be the first, then. Could you head south-east down Tharkh Shathur? Some harthrót grows along the road not far from here.' Background In an attempt to make better-tasting rations, the dwarf Halvar is willing to experiment. Objective 1 Collect harthrót Halvar has asked you to collect some harthrót plants for him to work with. Harthrót can be found along the road at Tharkh Shathur, south-east of Ashmargathâl. Objective 2 Talk to Halvar You have picked some harthrót, and should take the plants back to Halvar in Ashmargathâl. Halvar: 'Excellent. Let's see... any plant that can survive out here won't be easy to cook. But...' Halvar spends the next few hours experimenting alone and muttering to himself.
