Quest:Instance: Unfinished Business

Under the cover of night, you and Mekhnet have stealthily crept past the threshold of Atrad-zarakh. Thraunákh tinkers away at his sapper-bombs somewhere deeper in, oblivious to the death that awaits him.

Background

With Atrad-zarakh finally breached, it is up to you and Mekhnet to stop Thraunákh and his sapper-bombs.

Objective 1

Talk to Mekhnet

Before delving deeper into Atrad-zarakh, you should talk to Mekhnet.

Mekhnet: 'Look at us; we're in Atrad-zarakh and the Orcs outside are none the wiser! You made short work of those sentries earlier.

'Thraunákh's creations have caused no small amount of woe for us. With him out of the way, we stand a chance to claim Atrad-zarakh for good.

'Of course, we can't claim the watch-tower tonight with just the two of us, but let's find Thraunákh and leave our mark. Shall we?'

Objective 2

Defend Mekhnet

You should help defend Mekhnet

Mekhnet says, 'Be careful, and stay close.'

Mekhnet says, 'Eugh... what have those cursed Orcs done to this place?'

Mekhnet says, We knew time would not be kind to these ruins, but...'

Mekhnet says, 'The Orcs' defilement knows no bounds.'

Mekhnet says, 'Hrm... I don't hear or see movement downstairs. Up we go, then.'

Mekhnet says, 'To me, Hermáth!'

Mekhnet says, 'Truth be told, I did not miss the fighting.'

Mekhnet says, 'Even so, I'm glad to be doing something again.'

Mekhnet says, 'Curse these goblin-sappers... I'll be satisfied once we can stop them for good.'

Mekhnet says, 'These poor creatures will listen to none but their masters now.

Mekhnet says, 'All we can offer them is a swift end.'

Mekhnet says, 'Hold a moment, Hermáth.'

Objective 3

Talk to Mekhnet

You have found Thraunákh, though Mekhnet wishes to speak with you before facing him.

Mekhnet: 'That must be him. He seems like a nervous worm, but putting together these sapper-bombs requires careful planning and thought. If only that intelligence was not used for such a destructive purpose.

'Well, enough talk. Let's finish what we set out to do, yes?'

Objective 4

Defend Mekhnet

You should defend Mekhnet as you both face Thraunákh.

Mekhnet says, 'Baruk Khazâd!'

Thraunákh says, 'Dwarves?!'

Thraunákh says, 'You wretches! Don't just stand there!'

Thraunákh says, 'Attack them!'

Mekhnet says, 'Finally.'

Objective 5

Talk to Mekhnet

Thraunákh has been defeated.

Mekhnet: 'Good riddance. I can never get back the months I spent recovering, but at least this will prevent more of our comrades from experiencing the same pain.

'Now, let's head back. I'm sure Lúka is worried sick. Heh, sometimes I think she'll never relax.

'Lead the way.'
