Bestowal Dialogue
Nakási Wave-reaper and the Heirs of Castamir
"The end comes."
Background
Together, you and Tatháta the Beast have determined to defeat the leadership of the Song of Waves and Wind and prevent the fleet from being used further against Gondor or anywhere else.
Objective 1
Tatháta is beside the Heirsworn ship Phazanêg.
- Tatháta: 'The Heirsworn ship moored alongside the dock here is called Phazanêg, "The Last Heir."
- 'You must see that this name comes true, and put an end to he who rallies the Heirsworn! My business is with Nakási.'
Objective 2
Aphadaer has sought the protection of Balakhâd for the death of King Elessar.
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn says, "Balakhâd! I have slain the King of Gondor!"
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn says, "You must protect me!"
- Balakhâd, Son of Balakhôr says, "Is this true?"
Objective 3
- Tell them no, the King will live
Aphadaer claims he has taken the life of King Elessar. Tell him no, for the King will survive his wound.
Objective 4
- Remain alert for any Heirsworn treachery
Remain alert for any treachery on the part of the Heirsworn.
- Balakhâd, Son of Balakhôr says, "Do you think to deceive me?"
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn says, "No, my lord! Please, let me explain!"
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn says, "I will prove my loyalty to the Heirs of Castamir!"
- Tatháta says, '"'My business is with Nakási, and no other! These two are yours!"
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn says, "<name>, please, let me explain!"
Objective 5
- Prepare for battle and speak to Aphadaer
Aphadaer has decided to prove his loyalty to Balakhâd and the Heirs of Castamir by facing you in battle.
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn: 'Always have I been loyal to the Heirs of Castamir, <name>! I gave them whatever tidings I could of Elessar's plans, and the woman Ioreth proved a font of information! Indeed... it was most challenging to determine what news could be of use amidst all of her ramblings!
- 'I lost contact with Maethon shortly before the King departed for Outer Gondor, and received no further word from the other supporters of the Heirs; I had to decide what actions to take on my own. That stayed my hand for a time, but always I sought for some means of separating the King from his defenders while we ventured in Anfalas and Pinnath Gelin.
- 'But now that Balakhâd has assumed his rightful mantle, I can die knowing I have done what I could to support his rise! If I must die, then I will die for him! Praise the memory of Castamir, and all his heirs!'
Objective 6
- Remain on your guard as you confront the leadership of the Song
Remain on your guard against those who command the Song of Waves and Wind.
- Aphadaer, Heirsworn says, "I prove my loyalty in death!"
- Balakhâd, Son of Balakhôr says, "I asked you once before to stand beside me, <name>."
- Balakhâd, Son of Balakhôr says, "You must know the destruction of Gondor is necessary!"
- Balakhâd, Son of Balakhôr says, "The ancient Elves... they will kill us all!"
- Rothog says, "Your time has come, Balakhâd."
- Balakhâd, Son of Balakhôr says, "Wait! If I surrender... if you grant me mercy..."
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "No!"
- Rothog says, "Nakási!"
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "When I sailed to this place, I knew I would never leave it."
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "But first Balakhâd would die."
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "I needed the loyalty of his men if I was to have my vengeance upon Gondor."
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "But that vengeance was incomplete for so long as any Heir of Castamir still drew breath."
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "Now I can tell Tumúldo he is avenged."
Objective 7
Nakási Wave-reaper has accomplished her mission, and she stares at you with contentment.
- Nakási: 'You cannot defeat me, <name>, not even with Rothog and Tatháta by your side. My victory is already complete, for I have avenged Tumúldo and satisfied my quest. Gondor burns, as I knew it must. My enemies, all of my enemies, have suffered for the hurts they caused me. Now I am beyond all hurt.
- 'You have already lost, no matter the outcome of this battle.'
Objective 8
The battle is over.
- Nakási Wave-reaper says, "I must tell... Tumúldo..."
- Rothog says, "It is over."
