Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue Near the river Entwash, Quickbeam's Huorn suddenly becomes distressed as it tries to wipe viscous slime from one of its roots. It shambles to a nearby tree that has grown brittle and lifeless before smearing the slime onto its trunk. The trunk shows signs of renewed health, and although such a remedy seems unlikely, you decide to aid the Huorn in healing the other wounded trees nearby. Background Unknown to all save for the Ents and Huorns, the slime of Fangorn's slugs can be used to heal weak and dying trees. Objective 1 Collect slime from Entwash-slugs (0/8) Slugs can be found in western Fangorn along the shores of the river Entwash. Quickbeam's Huorn wants you to heal wounded trees in Fangorn with slug-slime. Collected slime from Entwash-slugs Objective 2 Soothe wounded trees in Fangorn (0/4) Wounded trees can be found in western Fangorn along the shores of the river Entwash. This tree is in need of healing Soothed wounded trees in Fangorn Objective 3 Completed You have healed many trees with slug-slime. You have healed a number of trees in Fangorn, hopefully reversing damage done to them by the new inhabitants of the forest. Although your aid is not immediately noticeable, in time the trees will once again grow tall and green.
