Fervour is a skill resource used by Champions. Certain skills build Mettle (up to a maximum of five) while others spend it. When out of combat, Champions will gradually decrease Fervour down to zero.
The Champion gains increased bonuses from each point of Fervour they have, tracked through the 
 Fervour effect.

 Great Cleave in the Deadly Storm trait tree reduces the Fervour cost of Blade Skills by 1. - The skill 
 Adamant in the Martial Champion trait tree gains improved damage reduction for each point of Fervour the Champion has. 
Traits
- Specializing in the Martial Champion trait tree makes the Champion have a 10% chance to gain 1 Fervour on any damage (increased up to 20% by 
 Masochism Increase). - The trait 
 Bracing Against Defeat in the Martial Champion trait tree makes 
 Bracing Attack generate 2 Fervour instead of costing it. - The set bonus 
 Precise Strikes in the Berserker trait tree makes Strike Skills generate 1 Fervour on critical hit. - The set bonus 
 Red Haze in the Berserker trait tree makes the Champion generate 5 Fervour upon killing an enemy. - The set bonus 
 Furious Swings in the Deadly Storm trait tree makes Blade Skills have a 20% chance to generate 1 Fervour. - The trait 
 The More the Merrier in the Deadly Storm trait tree makes Blade Skills have a 15% chance to generate 1 Fervour for each target hit.
