There is no associated effect that keeps track of when this skill is available, like  Retaliation.

•  Thrust

When traited,  War-chant reduces the active cooldown of this skill by up to 5 seconds.

Trait Interactions

• The trait  Blind Rage in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill have up to a 100% chance to apply Blind Rage to the Guardian.
  
• The trait  Tireless Blows in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill have up to a 50% chance to reset the active cooldown of  Brutal Assault.
  
• The trait  Invigourating Response in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill restore up to 4% maximum Power upon a critical hit.
  
• The trait  Demoralizing Anthem in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree makes  War-chant reduce the active cooldown of this skill by up to 5s.
  
• The trait  Singular Focus in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree makes this skill apply Singular Focus - Debuff to the enemy target upon critical hit.
  
• The trait  Thrill of Battle in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill apply Thrill of Battle to the Guardian, up to 5 times. If this skill lands as a critical hit, all stacks are removed.

Tactical Information

To The King is a very powerful skill. Besides being one of your hardest hitting attacks, it applies Knocked Down on critical hits. With a decent critical strike chance you can end up stunning your targets often. It should be used as much as possible, and due to its long skill animation, is often immediately followed by Breach or Stamp.
