Using this skill applies War-chant to targeted enemies.
Skill Interactions
Damaging skills against an enemy target when they are within the Bastion of Light hotspot have a 5% chance to spread War-chant on up to 3 other targets within the hotspot.
Trait Interactions
- The trait Demoralizing Anthem in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree increases the target count of this skill by up to 5, increases its range by up to 100%, and makes it decrease the active cooldowns of Block/Parry Response skills by up to 5s.
- The trait Disabling Strikes in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree increases the potency of War-chant by 2.5%.
- The trait Insult to Injury in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree makes your damaging skills have up to a 20% chance to refresh War-chant.
- The trait Radiate in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree increases the proc chance for Bastion of Light to spread War-chant by up to 30%.
Tracery Interactions
- War-chant Duration increases the duration of War-chant by up to 5.5s.
Tactical Information
War-chant is one of the Guardian's most important skills. When fully traited, this skill reduces the cooldowns of many important skills, including rotational damage and defensive cooldown skills. All Guardians should use this skill as much as possible while being strategic about how to best benefit from the active cooldown reduction.
