While the Burglar is in Stealth (or is under the effects of  Combat Stealth or  Improved Feint), this skill becomes empowered, dealing additional damage. When traited, this skill has a 25% chance to apply  Focused Strike Opportunity, which temporarily makes  Return Strike available for use.

 Even the Odds has a chance to apply  Even the Odds: Focused Attack to the Burglar. While applied, the damage of this skill is increased by 3%.

Trait Interactions

• The trait  Sneak Attack in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill reduce the active cooldown of  Coup de Grâce by 2 seconds when used from Stealth.
• The set bonus  Improved Sneak in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill guaranteed to land as a critical hit when used from Stealth.
• The set bonus  Dealings Done in the Gambler trait tree makes this skill apply a random T6 Gamble when used from Stealth.
• The trait  A Sure Thing in the Gambler trait tree makes this skill tier down the Gambler's Advantage bleed on the enemy target to deal bonus AoE damage. Further ranks increase the bonus damage by up to 25%.
• The set bonus  Return Strike in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill have a 25% chance to apply Focused Strike Opportunity to the Burglar when used from Stealth. While active, the Burglar can use the skill  Return Strike.
• The trait  High Roller in the Gambler trait tree increases the duration of this skill's applied Gambles depending on the applied tier (T4 = +2s, T5 = +4s, T6 = +6s).
• The trait  Aggravated Bleeds in the Gambler trait tree increases the duration of Damaging Gamble by up to 4 seconds.
• The trait  Honed Wit in the Gambler trait tree increases the bleed damage of this skill by up to 25%.
• The trait  Back Stab in the Quiet Knife trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 10%.
• The set bonus  Relish Battle in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill apply Relish Battle HoT to the Burglar upon critical hit.

• Gamble Pulses increases the duration of applies Gambles by up to 8 seconds.
• Gamble Upgrade Chance makes Gambles have up to a 33% chance to be upgraded by 1 tier upon application.

Equipping 6 pieces of the Umbari Armour of Chance armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid makes Burglar attacks have a 20% chance to refresh Damaging Gamble and Scrapper's Gamble, and increase the tier by 1. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds. Equipping both pieces of the Insignia of the Shagâni Fulcrum jewellery set acquired from the Legacy of Morgoth instances makes Damaging Gamble have greater odds to land as a 4-6, and never land as a 1. The bleed damage of this effect is increased by 20%.

Tactical Information

This skill does major damage when in position or when in stealth (then it is replaced by Stealthed Surprise Strike) and critical hits with this skill have +100% critical magnitude. This makes the skill ideal to start a fight with, as it enables your Critical Response chain.
