Location

Skoironk (Black Speech for Fly-pit), the Maggot-Holes, is a landmark within the the Slag-hills in the Wastes. ^{[36.8S, 4.8W]} It is the largest web of connecting maggot-holes in the Wastes, teeming with broods of evil things.

This is a Public Dungeons and later a Solo or Fellowship Reputation and Crafting Instance that provides Prospector Nodes.

How to unlock the Fellowship Skoironk Resource Dungeon

Head to the small Ranger outpost in the Slag-hills ^{[34.4S, 3.5W]}. Complete the Lang Rhuven quest chain, which is part of Dagorlad. The Resource dungeons are interrelated and interlocked, you must now complete four quests to unlock them.

How to open the Daily Skoironk Resource Dungeon

Head to the small Ranger outpost in the Slag-hills ^{[34.4S, 3.5W]} and get the quest:

• [105] Enclaves in the Depths - Skoironk, Fellowship, Repeatable
• There is a  Gondorian Artifact inside the door of Carchost which starts a quest. Upon completion of this quest you are sent back to Thurindol, who gives you three more quests for the Tower of the Teeth.

Lockpicks and the Locked Strongbox

Regarding Locked Strongbox (Optional): In all resource instances this quest is auto-bestowed at the final boss. To complete these quests you must barter for a Set of Brittle Lock-picks which you use to open the lockbox.

• You must have  Set of Brittle Lock-picks to open the chest!
• You MUST acquire the Lock-picks BEFORE you start the daily or you will be unable to open the chest.
• Lock-picks are obtained by bartering flowers (20 Violet Extracts and 20 Golden Extracts) with the Herbalist (Host of the West).

Resource and Crafting Rewards

Within the two daily crafting instances (Tower of Teeth and Skoironk) you can obtain reputation items via mob drops, quest completion, and an optional chest. Resources are obtained primarily from Mob drops and quest rewards - only Dagorlad Scrap Deposits and the occasional mushroom, exist as nodes.

These quests offer a choice of crafting ingredients upon completion.
