Bestowal dialogue

'It is still unclear if these maggots are the architects of these caverns or if machines bore these tunnels.

'Would you collect water samples from the caverns so that I may study them?

'We may be able to ascertain more about these unnatural structures from the waters which seep through the rock of the hills.'

Background

Thurindol asks for you to collect samples of the water within the maggot-holes of Skoironk.

Objective 1

  • Collect water samples from Skoironk (0/6)

Standing water can be found within the caverns of Skoironk.

You should collect samples of the water within the caverns for Thurindol.

Objective 2

Thurindol can be found at a small Ranger outpost hidden in the Slag-hills.

You should speak with Thurindol.

Thurindol: 'Let us see these samples.'
Thurindol holds one sample in each hand, peering into the glass phial as he holds each up to the smoke-masked sun.
'This sample is from near the entrance, is it not? While it is filthy, it is not as toxic as the waters around us in the slag. No doubt then, a product of Orc occupation. Now, this other sample is interesting. The water here is much purer. I believe our initial thought, that the maggot creatures were the ones who dug these hose, is indeed the correct assumption. This is very interesting and I look forward to learning more once the battle concludes.
'What troubles me, though, is that every maggot you have encountered thus far seems to only be in the larvae stage. Once fully grown, these creatures could potentially be terrifying.'
