Road of Riches

The Road of Riches is a major trade route that links the many lands of Haradwaith, running from Umbar Baharbêl to Jarmát. It passes through Shagâna, including the Valley of Ikorbân and Mûr Ghala, and was once carried across the Ikorbân by the Span of Zibâla. That bridge, however, was destroyed a century ago, forcing the Road of Riches to be diverted along the newer Wrackwade, which is now contested by the Dumûri in the north and the Ordâkhai in the south. From there, the road continues through Khûd Zagin to Jirush, an important waypost along its length. It then runs southeast into Kighân, following the Barûg river and passing the fishing village of Sen Chatâk. Beyond this point, it merges with the Great Road arriving from across An Shêru, and passes directly through the ancient city of Zajâna. Further on, the Road of Riches crosses the open desert of Gûl Sakhasha and continues deep into the lands of Jarmát, extending southward to an unknown terminus.
