Walkthrough & Notes

This is a timed quest, about 3 minutes.
Avoid Lotho's Bounders! For info, see Note.
If you turn right after coming out of the door of the Secret Hideout and head to ^{[23.9S, 81.1W]}, you can head northeast up an incline, and if you take an easterly route, you can cut across the mountain, avoiding all the bounders and coming out on a ridge above Bounder Tudge.
Pick up Yonder-watch Supplies within the store-house:

"Supplies that may be of use to the Bounders of the Yonder-watch."

Find Bounder Tudge just by the southern entrance to Long Cleeve.
Bill Ferny is lurking just outside the northern gate of Long Cleeve. ^{[21.7S, 78.1W]}

'If the Yonder-watch hopes to outwit Lotho and his Bounders, they are going to need some supplies, and I have just the things!

'I need you to bring these supplies to the Bounders in Long Cleeve. Whatever you do, don't get caught by Lotho's Bounders!'

Collect the Yonder-watch supplies from the secret store-hole
Avoid Lotho's Bounders

Yonder-watch supplies can be found at the secret store-hole in the woods between Gamwich and Long Cleeve.

You should carry Yonder-watch supplies to a Bounder in Long Cleeve.

Bounder Tudge says, "This is just what we needed!"

Talk to Bounder Tudge in Long Cleeve

A Bounder of the Yonder-watch can be found in Long Cleeve.

You should talk to Bounder Tudge in Long Cleeve.

Bounder Tudge: 'Thank you for these supplies. Fredegar has been of tremendous help to our cause.

'While I have you here, would you mind assisting me with something? There is a Man named Bill Ferny lurking about near here, and I suspect he is up to no good. His presence will begin to frighten the children before long. So shoo him away... with force!'

Confront Bill Ferny
Defeat Bill Ferny

Bill Ferny can be found near Long Cleeve in the Yondershire.

You should confront Bill Ferny.

Bill Ferny: 'I'll go where I please and do what I please, and anyone who stands in my way is going to pay for it!'

Bill Ferny says, "I'll show you!"

Bill Ferny says, "I give up! I give up!"

Talk to Fredegar Bolger at the secret store-hole

A secret Yonder-watch store-hole can be found in the woods between Gamwich and Long Cleeve.

You should talk to Fredegar Bolger at the store-hole.

Fredegar Bolger: 'Hmm, I do not know this Bill Ferny. Do you think he might be in league with Lotho?

'No, I doubt it. Lotho might be a sour-faced fellow, but he's still a hobbit, and I can't imagine he'd have anything to do with this Ferny fellow.'
