Ghax-hophra Workers are not initially hostile, but watch out for accidental aggro. Some of the research notes are near the beach, where there are hostile Basking Rock-worms The Gredbyg are so slow, it is possible to kite them back and forth and complete Objective 1 without actually killing any. Then, if the character has a combat-removal skill (such as Minstrel Still As Death or Burglar Hide in Plain Sight) the number of total mobs which need to be defeated, is minimized. The Scout appears near the crest of the hill, where the Hive-queen spawned.

Objective 1 Collect abandoned research (0/10) Destroy Ghax-hophra nests (0/8) Recover the research and destroy the Ghax-hophra nests. Objective 2 Defeat the Ghax-hophra Hive-queen Defeat the Ghax-hophra Hive-queen! Objective 3 Speak with Malthak You have successfully recovered the research and defeated the Ghex-hophra brood!
