Effect Information

This effect is granted to Guardians, Hunters, and Champions (Blue Tree Line) parrying an attack. It allows certain skills to be used, upon which the effect is consumed.

Skill Relationship (Guardian)

This effect is applied by the following skills:

•  Sting and  Improved Sting (requires trait Relentless Assault; up to 25% application chance)
•  Breach (The Keen Blade)
•  Whirling Breach (The Keen Blade)
•  Relentless Fury (The Keen Blade)
•  Force Opening (The Fighter of Shadow)

This effect allows the following skills to be used:

•  Retaliation
•  Whirling Retaliation
•  Catch a Breath

When the tracery Increase Block & Parry Rating Application Chance is slotted, the application of this effect has up to a 55% chance to apply or tier up  Parry Adaptability on the Guardian, up to 3 times. This effect is consumed upon using  Retaliation,  Whirling Retaliation, or  Catch a Breath.

Parry Responses are also generated when a fellow with the  Protection by the Sword effect parries an attack.

Skill Relationship (Champion)

This effect allows  Sweeping Riposte to be used.

When  Fight Through The Pain is traited at max ranks, incoming Critical Hits also trigger this effect on the Champion.
