The Minstrel skill  Call to Greatness resets the active cooldown of this skill.

Trait Interactions

  • The trait  Rupture in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill remove all active bleeds (see above) on the enemy target to deal bonus damage per one removed. If at least 1 active bleed is removed, this skill applies the Ruptured Artery bleed as well as Rupture, the potency of which increases by 2% per additional bleed removed.
  • The trait  Thrill of Battle in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill apply Thrill of Battle to the Guardian, up to 5 times. If this skill lands as a critical hit, all stacks are removed.

Armour Set Interactions

Equipping 2 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Crocodile armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid increases the Bleed damage of this skill by 5%.
Equipping 4 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Crocodile armour set reduces the cooldown of this skill by 5 seconds.

Tactical Information

When traited, Hammer Down cashes out all bleeds on the enemy target to increase incoming damage. This skill is best used when the fellowship needs to deal a lot of damage to an enemy within a short window. After using this skill, the Guardian's bleeds should be built back up as fast as possible.
