Gossip

Description

Gossips are found in the Markets of Dale in the Dale-lands during Year 11 of the Anniversary Celebration Scavenger Hunt. ^{[24.8N, 25.7W]} ^{[24.2N, 24.9W]}. They are rather loudly chatting about the hobbit Bilbo Baggins.

"I have heard that the Bilbo Baggins who adventured with the dwarves was a hobbit."

"That Bilbo Baggins was a curious fellow. Came from a place called the Shire, I believe."

"It seems the Shire is far to the west of here, beyond the mountains."

"That Bilbo Baggins planned to travel west to his home, alongside Gandalf the Wizard."

"Bilbo Baggins came from the Shire, apparently. First I've heard of such a place!"
