The Stoor-vales is an area within Swanfleet in the southern region.

The area borders both the eastern and western sections of the Old South Road to the north as well as the Gloomglens of Enedwaith to the south-east.

This cliff-riddled part of Swanfleet is home to the Stoors, a kindred of hobbit that settled in these riverlands long ago. Many waterways criss-cross the hills, and the Stoors make good use of this for milling flour, fishing and swimming.

The vales are split into 3 sections and each section holds one of three major hobbit-villages in the valleys: Clegur in the lower vales, Glyn Helyg in the middle, most craggy vales, and Lintrev in the upper vales. The upper vales additionally provide easy access to Maur Tulhau in Enedwaith, another Stoor-village.

Recently, Black Riders have passed through the area and their presence has left a lingering corruption that is slowly spreading through the wildlife.
