Marigold Boffin is one of the eight children of Prisca Boffin and a first cousin, once removed, of Bingo Boffin.

While living in Newbury, in Buckland, Marigold fancies herself a heroic adventurer and often goes deep into the Old Forest, having even made the acquaintance of Tom Bombadil and Goldberry. She has even gone so far as Haudh Nogbenn in the Northern Barrow-downs.

Marigold Boffin is found in the Yondershire where she wants to surprise her sister who is moving there. But she cannot but go adventuring as well so we will meet her at Tham Amothir. Over time she is also seen in Tighfield and Nobottle.

She is cheerful and sociable, enjoying the company of her relatives and the festive atmosphere. Marigold seems particularly fond of the seasonal treats and decorations, and adds a warm, welcoming presence to the celebration.
