Watcyn is a deserter from Saruman's forces, fleeing Gaervarad and ending up wounded by the orcs in Caranost, where he was trying to scavenge a few things of value. He was rescued by Rendal, and initially distrusted his kindness. Watcyn can later be found at Rendal's House in Herne.
