Our enemy is a cowardly one indeed. Instead of coming here, where we have defences and forces at the ready, they burn and pillage the countryside. Looking at the smoke rising in the South it appears they have arrived at Faldham and begun in earnest. I cannot convince my leaders here to send any men beyond what few left of their own accord to defend their families. I hope their presence will be enough
