This quest counts for the Aiding the Norcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Use the Water Buckets at [54.6S, 57.1W], near the east entrance of Faldham, and run to one of the farms on fire. Repeat for the other farms. It is generally required to approach the front portion of the farmhouse buildings in order to get the prompt and 'use' the bucket (done automatically on prompt). The horse to return to Cliving is at [54.5S, 57.2W], not far from the Water Buckets, or by use the 'Leave Instance' feature by right clicking on the character portrait.

Quest Text

Without the farmsteads, we will have nowhere else to go. 'Help us to defend Faldham and carry water to the fires raging through the buildings.' Background The Enemy is setting the farmhouses of Faldham ablaze. Objective 1 Bring water to the central farmhouse Bring water to the south-west farmhouse Bring water to the north-east farmhouse Bring water to the east farmhouse Bring water to the north farmhouse Burning houses can be found at farmsteads around Faldham. Aldbéort has asked you to aid in the fefence of Faldham by bringing water to burning farmsteads. Aldbéort: 'Are you prepared to endure the flames and help defend Faldham? Enter the Public Instance: Defence of Faldham Objective 2 Talk to Aldbéort Aldbéort is at Cliving. Aldbéort will be pleased to hear that you helped put out the fires. Aldbéort: 'Soon we will have to begin replacing the scorched and burnt wood, but for now, the farmsteads stand.'
