They suffocate and hollow out trees to use as shelter for their broodlings. The dead trees must come down. Background The Mirkwood spiders have only recently arrived, but already they taint the forests in Cirith Ungol. Objective 1 Burn webbed trees (0/10) Mirkwood spiders have killed and webbed many trees in Taurlingol. You should burn webbed trees. Objective 2 Talk to Legolas Legolas can be found on a hill near Taurlingol. You should talk to Legolas. Legolas: 'We could do nothing for the trees that were already killed, but by culling the spiders, we may yet save the living forest.'
