If you go thin their numbers, there will be a good reward in it for you. You carry quite the reputation of being a skilled warrior, <name>.' Background Salamanders of the swamps near Langhold have begun to encroach upon the edges of the city walls. Objective 1 Defeat salamanders in the Seething Mire (0/10) Salamanders can be found in plenty in their nest to the south of Langhold, the Seething Mire. You should defeat many salamanders at the Seething Mire. Higbald: 'That den of salamanders is off south, in the swampy part of the north Wold.' Objective 2 Return to Higbald Higbald can be found in Langhold in the northern Wold. You should speak with Higbald. Higbald: 'Ah, <name>! I am glad to see you back. It looks like you have disposed of a great many of their number, and for that you have the gratitude of Langhold. We are always glad for extra hands, or swords, bows, and the like.'
