Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Your Vanha-väki sends you to find the lair of the great lohikârme, the creature called Bregmor? I know somewhat of him, though I have never seen him. 'It is told among the Lumi-väki that Bregmor was once the scourge of these cold lands. Many hunters tracked him, but none ever returned. It came to be that one day Bregmor ceased to hunt the Lumi-väki, and we saw no need to anger him further. 'If you wish to visit the lohikârme, you may do so yourself. You will find his lair far to the west, south-east of Jotunstath, the home of the Elukka, the Ice-giants as you call them.' This quest is meant for a fellowship. If you choose to undertake this quest solo you will receive an inspiration bonus, but the challenge will be great. Background Eglamír believes that the minions of Amarthiel may be seeking the hide of the Dragon of Forochel to repair the great bellows of Mirobel, the Ring-forges of Eregion, and sent you to learn of Bregmor for Yrjänä, the chieftain of Sûri-kylä. Objective 1 Find and enter Bregmor's Lair Bregmor's lair can be found far to the west of Sûri-kylä, south-east of Jotunstath. Yrjänä told you that the dragon Bregmor once terrorized Forochel, but no longer. He also indicated that he would not spare his people to guide you to Bregmor's lair, leaving you to fend for yourself. Yrjänä: 'I will not send my people to die for you. If you wish to see the lohikârme, go yourself.' Objective 2 Talk to Yrjänä Yrjänä is at Sûri-kylä, far to the east of Bregmor's lair. You failed to stop Angmar from obtaining the hide of the dragon Bregmor and should now return to Yrjänä with your news. Yrjänä: 'Bregmor was an evil creature, but it is sad still that such a great beast perished in such a lonely way. 'More troubling still is that the Rauta-väki succeeded in defiling the person of the lohikârme. And Mordrambor, why would he aid in this fashion? Is he not an enemy of Amarthiel, seeking her ring for himself? It is very strange and troubling.'
