This skill is part of the Burglar's  Critical Response Chain. It becomes available for use after one of the below skills is used. Only 1 Critical Hit Chain skill may be used following one of these skills.  Coup de Grâce also makes this skill available to be used.

Using the skills  All In and  Coup de Grâce temporarily reduces the cooldown of this skill by 3 seconds.

When traited, this skill has a chance to apply  Vital Points to the Burglar. While active,  Well-placed Strike becomes available for use.

 Even the Odds has a chance to apply  Even the Odds: Wide Swings to the Burglar. While applied, the damage of this skill is increased by 3%.

Trait Interactions

• The trait  Flashing Blades in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill apply Wide Provoke to the Burglar, which makes  Provoke become an AoE skill. The damage of this skill is also increased by 10%.
• The set bonus  Bloodletter in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill consume all stacks of Bloodletter from the Burglar to deal bonus damage.
• The trait  Vital Points in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill have up to a 15% chance to apply Vital Points to the Burglar. While active, the Burglar can use the skill  Well-placed Strike.
• The trait  Overwhelming Odds in the Gambler trait tree makes this skill have up to a 20% chance to apply Critical Response to the Burglar.
• The trait  Against All Odds in the Gambler trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 10%.
• The trait  Location is Everything in the Quiet Knife trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 7.5%, and reduces the enemy's chance of avoiding this skill by up to 3%.
• The set bonus  Relish Battle in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill apply Relish Battle HoT to the Burglar upon critical hit.
