This skill becomes available for use when  Critical Response is applied to the Burglar, which occurs upon landing a Critical Hit with another skill. Using this skill open up the Burglar's Critical Hit Chain, allowing the use of one of the following skills:

•  Purge Corruption
•  Feint Attack
•  Flashing Blades
•  A Small Snag
•  Lucky Strike
•  Blind Bet
•  Exposed Throat

Trait Interactions

• The trait  Vital Points in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill have up to a 45% chance to apply Vital Points to the targeted enemies.
  
• The trait  Even the Odds in the Gambler trait tree makes this skill have up to a 100% chance to apply one Even the Odds effect (out of 4 possibilities) to the Burglar when used on an enemy target afflicted by a Gamble.
  
• The set bonus  Loaded Dice in the Gambler trait tree increases the potency of Even the Odds by 20% of the base value.
  
• The set bonus  Location is Everything in the Quiet Knife trait tree increases the damage of this skill by 10% and makes it ignore 1% of the enemy block/parry/evade.
  
• The trait  Dance of Blades in the Quiet Knife trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 10%.
  
• The trait  Focused Strikes in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill only affect 1 target, but increases the damage by approximately 20%.
