Effects

Using this skill applies or tiers up  Gambler's Advantage on the enemy target, up to 5 stacks.

Skill Interactions

This skill becomes available for use when  Critical Response is applied to the Burglar, which occurs upon landing a Critical Hit with any skill.  Aim also grants this effect, and evading an enemy grants this effect. Successfully removing a Corruption with  Purge Corruption also applies this effect to the Burglar. Using this skill opens up the Burglar's Critical Hit Chain, allowing the use of one of the following skills:

•  Exposed Throat
•  Flashing Blades
•  Hedge Your Bet
  

Using the skill  All In temporarily reduces the cooldown of this skill by 3 seconds.

 Even the Odds has a chance to apply  Even the Odds: Bleeding Wounds to the Burglar. While applied, the duration of  Gambler's Advantage is increased by 6 seconds, and the damage is increased by 5%.

 Even the Odds has a chance to apply  Even the Odds: Focused Attack to the Burglar. While applied, the initial damage of this skill is increased by 3%.

When traited, this skill has a chance to apply  Vital Points to the Burglar. While active,  Well-placed Strike becomes available for use.

Trait Interactions

• The trait  A Sure Thing in the Gambler trait tree makes  Surprise Strike tier down Gambler's Advantage on the enemy target to deal bonus AoE damage. Further ranks increase the bonus damage by up to 25%.
• The trait  Vital Points in the Quiet Knife trait tree makes this skill have up to a 15% chance to apply Vital Points to the Burglar. While active, the Burglar can use the skill  Well-placed Strike.
• The trait  Overwhelming Odds in the Gambler trait tree makes this skill have up to a 20% chance to apply Critical Response to the Burglar.
• The trait  Aggravated Bleeds in the Gambler trait tree increases the duration of Gambler's Advantage by up to 4 seconds.
• The trait  Honed Wit in the Gambler trait tree increases the bleed damage of this skill by up to 25%.
• The trait  Location is Everything in the Quiet Knife trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 7.5%, and reduces the enemy's chance of avoiding this skill by up to 3%.

Tracery Interactions

• Crit Chain Skill Cooldowns reduces the cooldown of this skill by up to 1.1 seconds.
• Crit Chain Skill Critical Chance increases the critical chance of this skill by up to 5.5%.
• Crit Chain Skill Damage increases the damage of this skill by up to 38.5%.

Armour Set Interactions

Equipping 2 pieces of the Umbari Armour of Chance armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid increases the duration of Gambler's Advantage by 2 seconds.
