Effects

Using this skill applies  Dodge, as well as  Swordplay: Dodge to the Mariner. This effect is consumed by the next Swordplay skill.

Skill Interactions

The following Swordplay skills empower Dodge:

  •  Feint makes this skill heal the Mariner.

The following skills are empowered when they are the next Swordplay skill used after Dodge:

  •  Riposte deals +50% Damage and gains +50% Critical Chance.
  •  Disengage becomes available to use, and grants an additional +20% Run Speed.

Tracery Interactions

Armour Set Interactions

Equipping 2 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Stars armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid increases the duration of Dodge by 2 seconds.

Tactical Information

Dodge is commonly used to empower Disengage. This is the only skill that immediately makes Disengage available to use, so the combo is very good at the beginning of fights, or when the Mariner needs a movement speed buff.
