The Western Old South Road is an area within Swanfleet in the south-western region.

Consisting of the western section of the Old South Road and its surrounding wilderness, this area leads on to the ruined city of Tharbad, flooded by the Gwathló river. A road south through Mossward also leads to Western Enedwaith, though the passage is currently blocked by a locked gate. The river delta of Wadewater lies north of the road while the Stoor-vales and their numerous villages lie to the south-east.

Outside of the quiant town of Mossward, there is little to be found in the scrub lands that have slowly overtaken the once well-traveled road. Brigands grow bolder as they roam the wilds looking for their next target and worse yet are the recent appearance of Uruk-hai under the banner of the White Hand.
