Bestowal dialogue

'You wish to learn the ways of the Burglar, do you?

'It is prudent to study your foe's weaknesses and weigh your own tactics before engaging them. For instance, approaching a foe from Stealth increases the potency of many of your attacks. After all, a moment's forethought could be the difference between victory and defeat!

'Prove your mettle to me, and I shall deem you a worthy Burglar. Although it is not the mosty wily opponent, I would ask that you approach one of the training-dummies nearby and strike it with a Cunning Attack. If your form is improper, it is better that you hone it against a foe that cannot strike back!'

HINT:

Burglars benefit greatly from Critical Strikes and Devastating Blows. Scoring such hits will allow them to use special skills such as Double-edged Strike. In addition, many Burglar skills benefit from being in Stealth.

Try attacking a training-dummy from Stealth with Cunning Attack to inflict even more damage.

Background

Your trainer wants you to use your new skills to prove that you are ready to face the many dangers that exist in the world.

Objective 1

Use your Cunning Attack skill against the nearby training dummy.

Objective 2

The Burglar Trainer is at the Edhelion Watch.

Now that you have successfully used your Cunning Attack, you should return to your trainer and tell them of your success.

Timbadel: 'Well done, <name>! As you continue to hone your skill, I have no doubt you will learn even more cunning techniques to tip the scales of battle in your favor.
'Now then, I believe you should return to Elladan.'
