Walkthrough & Notes
  • The hobgoblin encampment is straight ahead, as you enter; the orc encampments are east and west, with equal numbers of quest objectives on other side.
  • Despite what Zóva says, it's not really possible, in the general case, to avoid all combat while interacting with the quest objectives (maybe with Minstrel Song of Distraction?). While combat can be avoided sometimes, often anywhere from 1 to 3 foes will aggro at a time, while the player is trying to destroy or collect items.
  • Orcs in this mission appear to have either an "Aggressive" or "Inspirational" stance, similar to the Orcs in the Standards of Khazad-dûm instance of the Kharum-ubnâr. See that Walkthrough for details.
Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue

'I ask you to accompany Zóva and work to sow discord between the Orcs and the Hobgoblins who camp near one another. I know that I can count on you, <class>.'

'When you return, I ask that you report your success to the visiting Longbeard emissary. He will want to be apprised of your efforts.'

Zóva : 'The encampments are mostly asleep. You should be able to sneak around as you execute on the plan.'

Background

Zóva, Prince Ingór's advisor, has devised a plan to further disrupt the Orkish factions within Gundabad.
