Instance Overview

This runs like a standard skirmish. Escort three assistants along the path to the ruins above the Prancing Pony. Each assistant will remember a threat you helped them with in the past, and that threat will manifest. Defend the assistant and take the control point. There are 8 different assistants that count for the deed Helping Hand when the control point is taken if the instance is at the same level as the player.

At the third control point, a spark is accidentally lit by the assistant. You are tasked with putting it out before the spark prematurely sets off the fireworks.

Unlike other seasonal instances, there is no -- Daily quest with a bonus reward. The optional quest involves giving sparklers to the children of Bree.

Walk-through and Tactics

If you take the quest Sparkling Sparklers -- Optional, then you should use your radar to find all the children in the starting area first, before escorting an assistant. There are two children beyond the first control point. The other ten can be found scattered around the area where you start.

When preventing the fireworks from launching early, you can use an area effect attack to get the attention of the sparks before they go after the fireworks.

Rewards

The optional quest grants:

The Box of Fireworks next to Gandalf grants

There are different raid chest locks for solo, duo/small fellowship, and fellowship.
