Gundabad Craft Recipe Selection Box
I guess we were creating same time. I had checked before I started on it and no one had set them up yet :D. Main reason I had the lowercase selection box was based off past experience with some that had shown in game as capitalized but were listed lower case on here, not first occurrence I've seen of it so just went with that. Doesn't help of course that Lotro alternates itself it seems some essence boxes have capitals and yet festival garments dont lol. Also I was working just from screenshots from Laurelsden at the time. I dont know which version we should keep I admittedly like the tables I added on mine :D Yours does have information that was missing on the one Id just finished though so maybe a merge of the two on to the Selection Box one. Hope that all makes sense late night editing you know how it goes lol. Eldalleth (talk) 10:41, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
- I picked up the box in-game late last night and was finally able to see the items within it. When I saw the lowercase "selection box" link, I wondered about the capitalization. When I did a search of "selection box" I discovered the capitalization discrepancy as you mentioned so I then went to Lotro Companion and it was using "Selection Box". I hadn't noticed that festival garments were using "selection box". I believe that generally SSG is using first letter cap convention for item names except when they add a dash, however SSG's consistency department seems to be minimally staffed. I find it a bit strange to see "selection box" in an item name when used to the first letter cap convention. Adding the profession column is a good idea; adding that to my version briefly crossed my mind but then I thought when the actual recipe pages are added, people will know which recipe requires what profession. However, it makes sense to have it listed on the selection box page. At this point, I believe "Selection Box" is the correct capitalization but am open to further discussion on it, perhaps bring it up in Discord for others to comment before a final decision? Or if you agree this is correct, I can merge in the recipe names from my version of the page as these were taken directly from opening the box in-game or from Lotro Companion. Item:Jet-studded Necklace Recipe
You added this item to the Wiki, any idea where it is acquired/bartered from?

Item Information
The page states "Not known how to obtain the recipe."
- The item is listed in Lotro Companion for Update 39. However, the only reference to it currently is the vendor in the E&G Tavern on Bullroarer. So it could perhaps be just a beta item at this point, just not sure. I didn't check the various vendors yet after U39.1.1 was released.Sagarmatha (talk) 07:44, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
- Cool I couldnt see/find it anywhere either. . . . .yet :-)

The "Type = Pocket" is missing from those items. I was unsure how to add it.
Sucamarto (talk) 10:38, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oops, thanks. Added "slot=Pocket" to {{Token of Umbar}}. Sagarmatha (talk) 21:58, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
Purple Corsairs of Umbar Instance Cluster drops
Hi Sagarmatha, just a quick question for something I noticed yesterday. It seems U41 made a change to all purple Umbar instance drops for Medium classes... All Bracers are renamed from Bracers to Gloves, which is strange because Gloves are typically used for Light classes. The teal armour doesn't seemed to be affected. Could you please verify and possibly fix the Umbari Armour Set template, thnx in advance? Example Flawed Umbari Gloves of Chance - Tiberivs (talk) 15:21, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. I believe the name changes were done in U41.1 as Lotro Companion for U41 still uses "Bracers". The U41.1 release notes mention they renamed some raid gear but didn't provide specific details. Let me check the class specific reward vendors for DMK. I know they changed the "Umbari Circlet" to "Umbari Cap" for the light armour classes as I confirmed that earlier with the reward vendors. As for "Gloves" for medium armour classes, I checked Category:Hunter Items, Category:Burglar Items and they are consistently using "Gloves" with "Umbari Bracers" being the exception. So it appears the light and medium armour classes are both using "Gloves" although I did find some Hunter items using "Gauntlets" which is normally reserved for heavy armour classes. As you are probably aware, SSG makes a lot of consistency errors. Sagarmatha (talk) 22:25, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- I have fixed the template. Sagarmatha (talk) 20:15, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
