Image uploading

Hi Mellow! Thanks for all your many contributions. They're very much appreciated! \o/

Just a small note: When uploading images, if you could also add them to a Category (or several, depending on what image it is) at the same time, that would be awesome! You can search for the right category in Category:Images, and find information for how to add it on the help page. If you are unsure where to put it or have trouble finding the right category, that's fine; just ask for help, pick the 'best guess'/closest match you can find, or just leave it blank and someone else will get to it later. =)

Small addition here, but first, thanks for all your uploads!

Your recent housing images that you've uploaded to replace old ones with floaty names are great, but some could use a little cropping so that the item is the main focus of the image. This is especially helpful for galleries on Decoration pages where the images are smaller, although it is also good for item pages themselves. You can check out sizes/cropping on other items of similar types for an idea of what I mean.

Also, the new image for the Tundra Bear Trophy is too low resolution. All of your others are high res, so is there any way you can add this one in a similar resolution? I don't really want to put the image stub tag right back on since it seems like you probably can resolve that yourself.

Also, no need to be alarmed, but I'm going to move a couple files that had mis-formatted names -- nothing you did, since you updated the existing images, so I don't want you to think it's a criticism of your uploads!

Just wanted to chime in on the Tundra Bear Trophy it is unfortunately that bad in game itself as well as a few others. I checked last night myself while on ultra high graphics. I did upload a better lighting version though and ultra high did help the base of the trophy but fur is still pretty bad. SSG needs to update the textures on a lot of taxidermy. The fur on yours, while sad, is still considerably better than the previous image. Like I said, it's like it was taken on a different computer or something, since most of Mellow's (if it's not okay for me to nickname you, please call me out because I don't want to be that person) images have much higher graphics settings and resolutions. It seemed sort of out of place and I figured they could probably rectify it easily, but I like your image as well. When I travel and have to get screenshots on my laptop they're never as good as my desktop, so it happens. And yes, the textures on taxidermy are ancient, holy cow. ~ Ruby (talk) 19:04, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

Traceries Pages

Hi thanks for helping to make things more accessible to folks on the wiki via links to pages on the traceries pages we do appreciate all the hard work you've been putting in recently to improve the wiki. I did want to note generally we ask people to try and make changes like that in one edit vs multiple via sections as it can get fairly spammy on recent changes log as well as another editor/admin has to patrol edits and 30+ changes on one page is a lot to patrol. Keep up the good work just try to do it in one edit on a page ;) . Thanks. Eldalleth (talk) 16:00, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

Just wanted to add a few things to the above:

• Please use the 'Show Preview' button at the bottom (shortcut: Alt-Shift-P) to check your intended changes and make sure everything looks good on the page (e.g. no red links for instance) before saving your edit! That way you avoid having to do multiple edits to fix what didn't work. :)
• When adding links, please check the target page that the link points to – before saving – to verify that what you're trying to link to is indeed the correct information that you want, and not something different/unrelated (e.g. Devastating Strike (Champion) instead of Devastating Strike for Reaver, or linking to old legacies for the now deprecated old-style LI system that are no longer in use).
