Who am I?

My name is Glen. I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I've been playing LOTRO for a relatively short period of time - since summer of 2008. My wife and I love the crafting features. I started actively editing lotro-wiki.com when I noticed that the cooking crit items after patch 2.8 aren't yet documented. It turns out that there are a lot of Mines of Moria farming details that are missing also, so I've started updating those as well.

I administer a couple of MediaWiki based web sites myself, so I'm very familiar with the wiki engine and markup language itself. I even wrote a calendar extension that is being used successfully on two web sites. I once tried to host a guild (kinship) web site with a MediaWiki engine. It worked pretty well for a while. But the guild members were more comfortable with forums, so the wiki tended to get ignored after the initial novelty wore off.
