Shedax Khîn

Description

Shedax Khîn (Umbari for The Grinding Jaws) can be found east of Bakhjâd in the Shield Isles. ^{[1.7S, 127.9W]}

Though not a formal area or landmark the Grinding Jaws of Shadax Khîn are notable for the dangerous waters that have seen many shipwrecks over the years. Storms in the Bay of Belfalas will drive ships into the shallows and break them upon the rocks. Many of these become part of Bax Garâkh, and their unfortunate crews join the Dead. The luckier ones escape to places like Voyage's End or the nearby towns of Mâr Naphra or Halrax.
