Tooltip Coords

Is there a reason to prefer "Vales of Anduin" over "Meadhollow" in the Walkthrough Tooltip Coords? My understanding is that we generally use the most detailed available map, which in this case is Meadhollow. Velkeirien (talk) 04:37, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

No good reason that I know of, but you might ask at Noddi's talk page. Thurallor (talk) 05:41, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
The references using the meadhollow name were in red so the tooltips were not working so I changed it to something that did work. Plus the meadhollow map is actually called Crimbeorn's House in game, have not checked what it is called in the wiki.Noddi (talk) 11:54, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
The map says "Grimbeorn's House", but the region is called "Meadhollow" (as shown under the radar in the game when you're in the region). For that reason, User:Velkeirien renamed the jpg file to Meadhollow. However, we have included the aliases "Grimbeorn's House" and "Grimbeorn's Lodge" in User:Eleazaros/coords.js so you can use those names in the Tooltip Coords template if you prefer. All three of the following are equivalent:

If it's not working, you may need to purge your browser's cache. Thurallor (talk) 16:59, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
What Thurallor said (concerning Meadhollow). Also, I tested the coords when I added them, and the redlinks did not prevent the tooltip from appearing, with the correct map.
In any case, now that there *is* a page for Meadhollow, this shouldn't be an issue. If there's no objection, I'll go ahead and change the coords back.

I have fixed Meadhollow versus Grimbeorn's Lodge by moving some data to Meadhollow and delete the latter. It is true that the term "Grimbeorn's Lodge" occurs in quests, the Beorning travel skill, and maybe more. But when it comes to geography we follow what is seen on the map, mini-radar, and system messages. — Zimoon 16:10, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
