Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue

After a terrible wreck that cost all parties their ship, the Captain and the Mariner engage the Corsair captain and his lieutenants in a battle to the death.

Background

With a new ship, the vengeful captain set out in search of Yarikh....

Objective 1

Talk to The Captain

I looked my friend over and asked if they could continue....

The Captain: 'Aye, I am able, though not hardy. Let us not let my injury allow them to escape again.'

He groans.

'Press onward.'

Objective 2

Defeat the Corsair crew (0/16)

We scoured the beach, slaughtering with impunity. None could withstand our vengeance or our blades....

Objective 3

Find Yarikh
Defeat Akhât

At last, Yarikh came into view. Two of his lieutenants flanked him near a serviceable launch they were trying to get into the sea. We wasted no time to engage.

Yarikh says, 'I draw the line here, no further. You will trouble me no more, Captain.'

Yarikh says, 'You hunt me across years, the seas, and for what a few worthless lives we cut short? You seek vengeance?'

Akhât says, 'As you command. I will see you on the northern shores.'

Objective 4

Make your way to your friend's side

Yarikh's boat slipped out of sight as my blade wet itself on Akhât's corpse. Behind me, I heard a gasp and sputter for air... my friend.

The Mariner: 'Do not worry after me...

'I would have followed you to the end of the world. My friend... my-'

The last word is cut short as the man perishes on the sand.
