Bestowal dialogue The Mysterious Thief "Night has fallen on the trading village of Loeglond. Now is the time to enact Sírithon's plan, to patrol the village, in hopes of catching the mysterious bandit." Background Having found convincing proof, Sírithon devises a plan to catch the Loeglond thief. Objective 1 Patrol Loeglond (0/4) Patrol Loeglond. All is quiet (4/4) Objective 2 Check on the trap Check on the trap. SUPPLIES "A barrel that should contain supplies." Sírithon says, "All is quiet here." Nothing is missing Objective 3 Talk to Sírithon Talk to Sírithon. Sírithon: 'Not one movement or sign of an intruder?' Before he can speak again, shouting erupts from the other end of Loeglond. 'What is that commotion? <name>, go quickly. See what it is!' Objective 4 Investigate the noises Investigate the noises. There seems to be noises coming from the other side of Loeglond! Sírithon says, "This way." Sírithon says, "I hope that we are not too late." Raft Elf says, "I had finished stacking these goods when someone pushed me." Raft Elf says, "Whoever it was pushed the crates over, trying to topple them on me!" Raft Elf says, "I did not see who it was. He vanished into the reeds so quickly." Sírithon says, "It is as I feared then. This was just a diversion!" Sírithon says, "Quickly, <name>, you must return to the cart." Objective 5 Return to the trap Return to the trap. The supplies are gone! Objective 6 Talk to Sírithon Talk to Sírithon. Sírithon: 'We laid our trap so carefully, only to be fooled by a ruse! These are sly and attentive thieves, indeed, <name>. 'Sly - but not stealthier than the eyes of an Elf, <name>. Not quite! For as we returned, I caught a glimpse - no more than a glimpse, though, alas - of some shadowed figure fleeing the cart! The direction it fled, however, was plain as day. It fled toward Esgaroth.' Sírithon: 'It would seem that Esgaroth may house our thief.'
