Prerequisite(s): Complete the Elthengels, Trader's Outpost and Caddabrand's Camp quests. You also need to be level 79 or above.

Walkthrough & Notes
This quest requires you to kill any of the warbands in East Rohan. If you have already killed one the same day, the objective will complete as soon as you take this quest. There appears to be a bug that if either, you have "ever" killed a war-band or if you have killed multiple-war-bands, and not claimed this reward for them, it will complete. This quest can be repeated daily.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The Norcrofts are home to the most beautiful and fertile farmland in all of Rohan, and they should belong to its people, not to filthy Orcs. Yet as their vile horde ravaged across these lands, they simply claimed whatever defenceless property fell within their wake. 'Reeve Athelward has abandoned these farms, Théoden King sits blindly upon his throne; my last hope falls to you. If we are ever to take these lands back, we must defeat the Orcs dwelling within our homes.' Background The merchants and guards at the trader's outpost outside of Elthengels have noticed many warbands of wandering enemy forces. They have offered a reward for any who have the cunning and strength to overcome the forces marching across the Norcrofts. Objective 1 Defeat a warband of the Norcrofts Warbands of enemies can be found roaming across the plains of the Norcrofts. The trader's outpost offered a reward for any adventurers capable of defeating a warband of enemies in the Norcrofts. Objective 2 Speak to the merchant guard captain at the trader's outpost The guard captain of the merchants can be found at the trader's outpost, west of Elthengels. The guard captain has promised a reward for any capable of defeating a warband of the Norcrofts. Guard Captain: 'You have managed to defeat a warband leader? A most impressive task, for they have oft managed to outmanoeuvre even the most seasoned of riders. 'I am glad to reward you for your continuing good deeds. The safety provided by removing these warbands is more than worth the coin.'
