Description

Ruins of Kasukhín is an area within Sûg Nidar in Shagâna, the northern part of Harad in Haradwaith. This is the central island of the lake, Sûg Nidar, the Fearwater, where an ancient ruin dominates the rocky shores. To the southwest across the bridge lie Kalagrâkha and its feature city, Starkhaven. This was once a steep hilltop in an open valley, where the citadel of Kasukhín stood vigil. But that all changed with the coming of Ordâkh and the Din of Stone. The drowning of the plains caused the vast lake of Sûg Nidar to form, and the hilltop became an island. Years later, the Ordâkhai constructed the bridge high above the old floor of the plains to provide access to the ruins.
