Bróin

Bróin, son of Brogur, is a dwarf of the Iron Garrison and takes part in their conquest of Moria. Over the course of Volume II, he can be encountered in multiple places throughout Moria and Southern Mirkwood.

Description

The first time we encounter Bróin, he is found inside the Walls of Moria in Eregion. He is giving a lot of thought to the fact that reclaiming Moria from the Orcs will yield him fame and glory among his kin.

Description

After his rescue from the clutches of the Watcher in the Water, Bróin is found inside the Peaceful Path in Durin's Way, resting and tending to his wounds.

Description

During the Siege of Mirkwood, Bróin is working with the Hidden Guard returning Mazog, and can be found at the Bleak Cellar of the Haunted Inn in Mirkwood. He is later found at Gadorgar, a storage room within the ruins of Ost Galadh.

Bróin survives the defeat of the Iron Garrison in Moria with his uncle and cousin, though his father Brogur did not. He has come to Elderslade. He arrives at the Keep of Annâk-khurfu with Bori and Bósi, though he is last seen on the battlefield as the War of Three Peaks rages. His father's death weighs heavily on him, and he doubts the decision to seal Zigilburk away.
