Description
Bravantel was the daughter of King Rioc of the Orodhoth, the Men of the Mountains, who swore allegiance to Isildur on the Orossar atop the Hill of Erech. There was no fondness between the Men of the Mountain and the Dúnedain, but Bravantel fell in love with and secretly wed one of them. They had a son, Héol.
When Isildur levied his curse against the Men of the Mountain for their broken oaths, Bravantel and Héol also fell under it.
