Description
Balakhôr the Scourge (Adûnaic for Ship-lord) is the leader of the Corsair fleet of Umbar. After the destruction of the first fleet at the hands of Gondorian captain Thorongil almost forty years ago, Balakhôr has sworn bloody revenge on Gondor and is determined to conquer all of its shores. He succeeded in attacking Pelargir in Central Gondor and took the main Gondorian fleet. Balakhôr sent Umer, his second-in-command, as an emissary to Lothíriel of Dol Amroth in order to lure her to his ship, Nûluzimir the Night-jewel, while he also ordered Azruthor, another of the Heirs of Castamir, to conquer the Gondorian region of Anfalas. His other brothers are Dolgimil and Azgarzôr. In addition, he had a wife, Sakalphêl, and a son, Balakhâd.
