Arnail is the grandson of Nan Mabli, who takes a different approach entirely to dealing with the ancient tombs of Cardolan. He is first encountered on the road through the South Downs just west of Scurloc Farm. ^{[43.4S, 34.7W]}

Later, he is found on the slopes that lead up to Tyrn Gorthad alongside Nan Mabli. ^{[42.5S, 48.5W]}
