Halros

Description

Halros is a ranger who for long years have been protecting The Shire against threats from the north.

He is friends with Aragorn and Gandalf, and knows about their fondness of the halflings. Over the years he has grown attached to them himself and at time he will have to decide, staying in The Shire or joining his kindred at Aragorn's request.

Halros (The Shire)

We first meet Halros when he camps in a copse of trees in the Greenfields in the north-east of the Shire. The hobbits of the area knows him as a hunter of the Big Folks, but they have grown to trust him as friendly.

Depending on your advice to Halros while gathering the Rangers during Vol. III, Book 1, he may join the Grey Company on their road south and take part in a quest instance at Mirobel in Eregion.
